The Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k in Minneapolis was scheduled for April 14, 2018. This bit of information didn’t slow me down from getting to that starting line. So without further ado, Let’s get into the race details.  Continue reading “Wind, Sleet, Snow…Lets Race (Allstate Hot Chocolate 5k Review)”

It’s that time of the year again. Winter is slowly winding down (and in Minnesota I do mean very slow) and I started to look at what races I may want to run this year. As I looked back over what I ran last year, and what I may want to run this year, I kept thinking about the Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k and how I know I can improve upon my performance from the previous year. Right off the bat, in 2017 I had never run a 15k before, so no experience at that distance, and it was raining during the entire race (think wet socks and wet shoes). So needless to say, I think with my added experience going into 2018, I could improve upon my performance from 2017. With that being said, here are my top 5 reasons why I wanted to sign up and run the Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k on April 14, 2018, and why you may want to as well:  Continue reading “2018 Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k (Minneapolis) – 5 Reasons To Run”
